2. Using This Website

You may use this website to browse and buy our products for your own trade or personal use. You agree not to misuse the site, for example, by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting its operation, or using it for any unlawful purpose. All content on this site (text, images, logos and design) belongs to GripTek or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

3. Our Products

We make every effort to describe our products accurately, including sizes, ratings and specifications. Product images are for illustration and may vary slightly from the item supplied. Where a product has a stated load rating, breaking force, or working load limit, this figure comes from the manufacturer's own documentation for that specific item.

Many of our products (including ratchet straps, cargo nets and lifting gear) are intended for load-securing or lifting use. It's your responsibility to select the correct product for your application, to use it within its stated rating, and to follow the manufacturer's instructions. Where equipment is used at work, you (or your employer) remain responsible for complying with any applicable health and safety law, including inspection and certification requirements. Nothing on this website is a substitute for that responsibility.

4. Orders and How a Contract Is Formed

Placing an order through our website is an offer by you to buy the goods in your order. A contract between us is only formed once we accept your order, normally confirmed by an order confirmation email or, where applicable, by dispatch of your goods. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock or listed at an incorrect price, in which case we'll let you know and refund any payment already taken.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you complete payment. Payment is processed securely at the point of order: see our Payment Information page for accepted methods and how payment is handled.

6. Delivery

We aim to dispatch in-stock orders within 1–2 working days, with standard UK delivery taking a further 2–5 working days, as set out on our Delivery page. Delivery times are estimates; risk in the goods passes to you once they're delivered to the address you provided.

7. Cancellations, Returns and Faulty Goods

If you're a consumer, you have a right to cancel most orders within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Full details, including how to return an item, are set out on our Returns page. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

8. Our Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else which the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Subject to that, our liability to you for any claim relating to your order is limited to the price you paid for the goods in question, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of business or lost income). This clause does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Third-Party Links

Our Jax Hi-Vis Clothing page links to a partner website operated independently by Jax First Aid. We aren't responsible for the content, products, or policies of that (or any other) third-party site, and any purchase you make there is subject to their own terms. Where we have a commercial relationship with a partner, this is disclosed on the relevant page.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our services or the law. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. The terms in force at the time you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, mandatory local consumer protections in your country will also apply.
