At 610gsm (grams per square metre), these tarpaulins sit well into the super heavy duty category. Anything over 200gsm is generally classed as heavy duty. The extra weight and density give far better tear and weather resistance, making them suited to demanding, long-term use outdoors.
The sheet is a polyester scrim coated in PVC, so it's fully waterproof, very strong and resists tearing. Hemmed edges, solid brass eyelets and reinforced corners mean it holds up at the stress points where cheaper tarps fail.

Finished sizes can be up to 100–125mm short on one dimension due to the fabrication process and material roll widths.
